Mrs. Kristine & Mr. Haywood Talcove
Client involvement in selection process (phase 1)
We will handle most of the selection process so that Christine does not have to spend a lot of time on this, yet the home has the right foundation for Christine’s overall vision. Once we create a base-line guide, Christine can be involved as much or as little as she would like. For (phase 2), at Design International we use a visual process incorporating photorealistic images to create efficiency and effectiveness (rather than having to look at every individual item, Christine can see an entire room/area) to make any decisions.
How we interpret Christine’s vision based on our conversation
· Layered in Luxury
· Supreme Elegance
· Gilded in Gold
· Tile, Marble and Stone
When designing Italian style homes you must have an eye for quality. There is a fine balance between elegance and tacky decor—that is anything but Italian style. The right interpretation is ornate using light colors, curves, asymmetrical designs and gold. Within this vision we will blend a foundation of Rococo with lighter accents to emphasize the elegance of the home. As designers we know what areas of a home are important to emphasize, and which are secondary. This process also incorporates our years of experience to understand pricing within ratio to achieving the right goals and quality while maintaining a smart budget.
In reviewing the Empire - Palazzo model, the clean lines within the interior combined with the exterior composition lend themselves for magnificent open designs. The objective of this project is a two-phase project of consultation during the selection process with GL Builders, followed by interior furnishing/decorating selections. The home will be a secondary residence that achieves a balance between stunning interior design while incorporating the functional elements of a family lifestyle.
Selections (GL Homes)
We have over 30 years of a history in designing luxury homes and working in conjunction with builders to incorporate the selection processes. This experience enables us to understand quality while working within industry standards and budgets. Our understanding of this process allows for us to create a vision for the complete project that we can already apply in the preliminary stages of the selection process. This ensures that the fundamental components will work with, and enhance the decorative elements of phase 2.
Its about how you live, capturing the essence of the each room, creating a space that is functional, and a home that tells your story. We recognize that each project is an expression of our client's unique personality. Listening to our clients’ values and artistic preferences are essential to creating personalized interiors that are comfortable to our client’s home environment.
